How CardWatch finds Pokémon cards below AU Market Price

This page surfaces individual Pokémon cards currently on eBay Australia whose delivered price sits at least 15% below their AU Market Price. For singles, AU Market Price is the median of recent eBay Australia sold prices for the same card, so each listing is measured against what comparable copies have actually sold for here, not an overseas guide converted into dollars.

Comparisons are matched by set, card number, language and grade, and raw cards are kept separate from graded ones. Postage is included on both sides where it is known, so a low headline price with expensive shipping does not read as a saving.

A lower price is not automatically a better card. CardWatch does not verify condition, authenticity or the seller, so always open the listing and check the photos, described condition and seller feedback before you buy. Prefer sealed boxes and ETBs? Browse sealed Pokémon deals on eBay, which use a slightly different market comparison.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a buying opportunity on CardWatch?
A single card is shown when its delivered price on eBay Australia is at least 15% below its AU Market Price. Cards without enough recent Australian sold prices are not given a market price, so none is shown for them. AU Market Price is an estimate, so treat each result as a potential saving to check, not a guaranteed bargain.
How is a card compared with AU Market Price?
AU Market Price for a single is the median of recent (about 30 days) eBay Australia sold prices for the same card. The listing's total including postage is compared against those delivered sold prices, so it is a delivered-to-delivered comparison.
Is delivery included?
Yes. The comparison uses each listing's total with postage where the postage is known, against delivered sold prices. Listings with unknown postage are not silently treated as free shipping.
Why do set, card number, language and grade matter?
A card's value depends on exactly which print it is. A different set, card number, language or grade is effectively a different card with its own market, so CardWatch compares like with like and keeps raw and graded copies separate.
Should I still check the listing myself?
Yes. CardWatch does not guarantee any listing is a bargain and cannot verify a card's condition, authenticity or the seller. Always read the listing, inspect the photos and check seller feedback before buying.
